Come attivare il visualizzatore tastiera

  1. 1 Open Apple menu  → System Settings → Keyboard.
  2. 2 In the Text Input section, click Edit... next to Input Sources.

I tasti con bordo arancione nel visualizzatore tastiera sono tasti muti. Premendone uno, macOS entra in attesa di applicare un accento alla vocale che digiterai.

Digitare accenti e diacritici su Mac

macOS offre due metodi distinti per le lettere accentate: gli accordi con tasti muti ad alta velocità e il selettore a pressione prolungata.

Dopo aver aggiunto più layout linguistici in Impostazioni di Sistema → Tastiera → Sorgenti di input, macOS fornisce scorciatoie dedicate per scorrerli:

Sulle tastiere Apple Silicon puoi impostare il tasto Globo per cambiare layout all'istante:

  1. Vai in Impostazioni di Sistema → Tastiera.
  2. Trova «Premi il tasto 🌐 per:»
  3. Seleziona «Cambia sorgente di input».

Ogni pressione di 🌐 scorre le sorgenti di input attive, senza bisogno di una combinazione a due tasti.

Digitazione tramite Unicode Hex su macOS

Inserisci qualsiasi punto di codice Unicode esadecimale a 4 cifre tramite una sorgente di input macOS specializzata.

Come attivare e usare Unicode Hex

  1. 1 Open System Settings → Keyboard → Edit Input Sources.
  2. 2 Click the "+" button in the lower-left corner.
  3. 3 Select "Other" from the language list, choose "Unicode Hex Input", and click Add.
  4. 4 Switch to the "Unicode Hex Input" source from the top menu bar or via Control+Space.
  5. 5 Hold Option and type the 4-digit hex codepoint (e.g. Option + 2 2 1 E produces ∞).

Limitazioni importanti di sistema

  • Only supports Basic Multilingual Plane (U+0000 to U+FFFF) directly via 4 digits.
  • Supplementary plane characters (emoji) require UTF-16 surrogate pairs.
  • Overrides standard Option-key letter chords while active.
Consiglio: Per la digitazione occasionale, il visualizzatore caratteri nativo (Control + Comando + Spazio) o il pulsante Copia in 1 clic di CopyCharacter è decisamente più rapido che configurare Unicode Hex.

You are using the British (UK) keyboard layout. On British Mac keyboards, the pound sign (£) is printed on key 3 and typed with Shift + 3, while Option + 3 produces the hash/number sign (#). On the U.S. layout, Option + 3 produces £.
